Prime Minister Modi arrived on a two-day visit to Russia on Monday for the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit with President Putin. Putin organized a private dinner for Modi at his official residence 'Novo-Ogaryovo' on the outskirts of Moscow on Monday night. Shortly after arriving in Moscow, Modi had said that he is looking forward to deepening bilateral partnership in future areas and strong relations between India and Russia "will greatly benefit our people."
