He said that Gautam Adani has committed a scam of Rs 2000 crore and he should be arrested. Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is engaged in saving Adani. According to him, no action is being taken against Adani despite the allegations and this is because PM Modi is supporting him.

Demand for JPC and reference to US investigation

Rahul Gandhi demanded an inquiry from the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) in the Adani case and announced to raise it in Parliament. He said that US agencies have also made serious allegations against Adani and a case has been registered against him there. Despite this, neither any investigation is being done in India nor any action.

Rahul Gandhi made a big allegation against Gautam Adani and said that he has captured the entire system of the country. Small criminals are immediately put in jail, but a person like Adani is roaming free despite such a big scam. He said that the government is under the control of Adani, and he has lied to Indian and American investors.

Rahul Gandhi said that PM Modi does not have the power to arrest Adani. He claimed that Modi and Adani are dependent on each other. He said, "The day Modi arrests Adani, his troubles will also start."

Adani accused in America

US investigative agencies have accused Gautam Adani and his associates of bribing for solar energy contracts and misleading investors. According to reports, Adani bribed Indian officials Rs 2200 crore and cheated American investors by giving them wrong information. A case was filed against him in the US court on 24 October 2024.

Rahul Gandhi's demand

The Congress MP has demanded that Gautam Adani be arrested and questioned. He also said that SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch should be removed from her post and investigated.
