Sonali Phogat Murder Case: CBI has filed a charge sheet in the Sonali Phogat murder case. Sonali died under suspicious circumstances at Curlies Bar in Goa. Sonali's PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder have been accused of killing her by forcibly giving her drugs. Both were arrested at the same time for Sonali's murder. Now the CBI has filed a charge sheet against both. CBI sources have given this information. According to the information received, the charge sheet has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) in Mapusa.The bureau interrogated Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh, who were arrested in the case, in Kolwale Jail. The CBI has also examined the documents of the Goa Police, which run into more than 500 pages. The statements of witnesses have also been recorded in this. The CBI also recreated the crime scene of Curly, where Phogat was allegedly drugged.CM Khattar and Khap Mahapanchayat demanded CBI inquiryLet us tell you that after the request of the Haryana Chief Minister and the demand of the Khap Mahapanchayat, the state government had transferred the Phogat murder case to the CBI. Sonali Phogat's daughter Yashodhara Phogat also demanded a CBI inquiry. Yashodhara had also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this.Goa police did not get anything specialThe Goa Police, which has been probing the murder case since Sonali Phogat's death on August 23, has not found any concrete evidence and has not arrived at any motive for the 'murder'. Initially, the Goa Police had registered a case of unnatural death, but after the postmortem report came, a case of murder was registered.The Goa Police had earlier said that Sonali Phogat was forced to drink methamphetamine drugs (meth) by the accused at the famous restaurant-cum-nightclub Curlies on Anjuna beach. Earlier this month, Edwin Nunes, owner of Curlies restaurant, was arrested by the Telangana Police from Anjuna in Goa in a drug case. Nunes was among five people arrested after Sonali Phogat's death this September. Later he was released on bail.
