New Delhi: Sunil Gavaskar, the former captain of the Indian cricket team and popularly known as Little Master, has many great records in his name. He has done exceptionally well for India in Test cricket. After retiring from cricket, he also tried his hand at commentary and often did commentary in many matches. But do you know that once during his commentary he made a big mistake. Actually, he had commented on the wife of the West Indies cricketer, after which there was a demand to remove him from the commentary panel.

Actually, in the year 2022 IPL, the match was being played between Rajasthan and Chennai on 20 May. During this, Sunil Gavaskar was also a part of the English commentary panel. Chennai Super Kings scored 150 runs towards the first batting. The Rajasthan team faltered in the chase and the responsibility fell on West Indian batsman Shimron Hetmyer. When Hetmyer came to bat, Gavaskar said, "Shimron Hetmyer's wife has delivered.. Will Hetmyer be able to deliver for Rajasthan now."

Actually, Shimron Hetmyer's wife gave birth to her child 3-4 days before this match. For this reason, Gavaskar used the word deliver while commenting.
