Odisha Bus Accident: 10 people have died in a painful bus accident in Odisha late on Sunday night. The incident is of Ganjam district, where an Odisha Roadways bus full of passengers and a private bus collided head-on. Many passengers are also said to be injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the Medical College of Berhampur for treatment. Regarding the incident, SP Sarvan Vivek of Berhampur while talking to Madia said that the incident took place around 1 pm on Sunday night. Many passengers of the private bus have died in the accident while many are also injured. At the same time, people aboard the Odisha Roadways bus have suffered minor injuries.According to the information, the Odisha Roadways bus, which was the victim of the accident, was going from Rayagada to Bhubaneshwar, while the private bus was returning from Berhampur with goods. After the incident, many passengers were trapped in the bus, who were taken out by the police and fire service personnel. However, it is not yet clear what was the reason behind the head-on collision between the two buses.Trying to provide all possible help to the injured- DMWhile giving information in this matter, Ganjam DM Dibya Jyoti Parida said, "Two buses collided, in which 10 people died. The injured were immediately admitted to MKCG Medical College for treatment. The investigation of the case is going on." We are trying to provide all possible help to the injured."Regarding the incident, an announcement has been made by the Odisha government to give an assistance of Rs 30 to the injured. However, so far there is no news of compensation from the government regarding the death. It is being told that there may be an increase in the number of people who died in the incident.
