Uttar Pradesh / UP govt to give ₹50,000 aid to families of those who died of COVID-19

The UP government on Sunday announced that it will provide financial help of ₹50,000 to families of those who died prematurely due to COVID-19. The UP CMO said it has to be ensured that no family is deprived of the relief amount. Committees will be formed in all districts under their respective DMs for the distribution of funds, it added.

Lucknow: When the Supreme Court reprimanded the government, the government has fixed the amount of compensation to the families of those who died of Covid. Yes, according to the information received recently, the Yogi Adityanath government of the state has announced financial assistance of 50-50 thousand rupees to the families of those who died due to coronavirus infection. Along with this, it has also been said to ensure that not a single eligible family is deprived of this relief amount. Let us tell you that till now no guidelines have been issued in this regard. However, it is being said that detailed guidelines will be issued soon.

On the other hand, the central government says that those seeking compensation will have to make an application. Those who are eligible will be given an ex-gratia amount through the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA). At the same time, according to the news of a famous website, the state government should constitute a committee under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate in the districts for the smooth implementation of relief amount distribution. According to the guidelines of the Government of India, all necessary preparations should be made in relation to providing relief. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave these instructions to Team-9.

During this, he said, 'Aggressive tracing, testing and rapid treatment, as well as rapid vaccination strategy, have been extremely effective in preventing Covid.' Today there is not a single active case in 42 districts, while one active case each is left in 16 districts. In the testing of 01 lakh 41 thousand 543 samples done in the last 24 hours, a total of 10 new infected patients were found in 08 districts, while 19 patients were discharged after recovering. At present, the number of active Covid cases in the state has come down to 119, while 16 lakh 87 thousand 11 residents of the state have become healthy after being free from corona infection.
