Maharashtra BJP spokesperson Ram Kadam wrote a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, "As you know, the last rites of late Bharat Ratna Lata didi were performed with state honors at Shivaji Maidan (Shivaji Park) Dadar, Mumbai. Due to this millions of fans On behalf of the music lovers and well-wishers of Lata didi, it is my humble request that the memorial of late Bharat Ratna Lata didi should be built at the same place in Shivaji Park where she merged with Panchtatva."

Demand for immediate construction
