Lok Sabha Election: The upcoming Lok Sabha elections are round the corner, hence all the political parties are busy in preparations. Meanwhile, big news is coming out for India alliance. It is being told that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has taken a soft stance and offered five seats to Congress. On which a decision can be taken soon. There was an uproar between Congress and TMC regarding seat sharing for many days.

Now the news is that Mamta has offered Congress to contest elections on five seats in the state. Both the parties believe that if they fight together, the votes of Congress Left can go to BJP. In such a situation, it is better to fight face to face with mutual consent on the lines of Kerala, so that the votes going in favor of BJP get divided.

India alliance aims to stop BJP

In fact, the important objective of the India alliance is to prevent the victory of BJP and the Prime Minister at any cost. This is the reason why TM and Left, which are known for their extreme opposition in West Bengal, are also included in the India alliance. Due to lack of agreement on seat sharing, Mamata had decided to leave the India alliance. But now once again he has adopted a soft attitude towards Congress and has offered 5 seats.

Mamta had earlier offered 2 seats to Congress

Earlier, Mamata Banerjee had asked Congress to contest elections on two seats. These were the same two seats on which Congress had won. But Congress did not agree this time. During this period, the rhetoric from both the parties against each other also intensified. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee, showing aggression, decided to break away from the India alliance and contest the Lok Sabha elections on her own.

Congress told TMC an important part of the alliance

This decision of Mamata Banerjee was a big blow not only for the India Alliance but also for the Congress. After which questions started being raised on the existence of the alliance. However, Congress was continuously being soft towards Mamata Banerjee. Congress President had said many times that Mamata Banerjee is an integral part of the alliance, while senior party leader Jairam Ramesh had also said that the objective of the alliance is to defeat BJP and when the time comes, everyone will come together, Mamata will also be with them.
