The protesters have also occupied many important roads. The internet has been completely shut down. Meanwhile, workers of the main opposition party BNP have come out on the streets in large numbers, who are targeting the workers of the ruling Awami League.

More than 300 people have died in these clashes. The clashes took place on Sunday morning when the protesters arrived to participate in the 'Non-cooperation Program' organized under the banner of 'Students Against Discrimination'. Workers of Awami League, Chhatra League and Jubo League opposed them, after which there was a clash between the two sides.

Meanwhile, the army has been deployed across the country including the capital Dhaka. Police have been removed from the streets.
