Moscow: Amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine, Russia has claimed that it has destroyed American and European military equipment in Kharkiv. Since Russia's attack on Ukraine, European countries including the US have been continuously providing military and financial aid to Kyiv. The US, NATO and many countries in Europe have provided Ukraine with state-of-the-art weapons, aircraft and other military materials to counter Russia.

Russia's defense ministry said on Saturday it destroyed a large stockpile of military equipment from the United States and European countries near a railway station in Ukraine's Kharkiv city, according to Reuters news agency. The Russian Defense Ministry said it destroyed Ukrainian military facilities, including three ammunition depots, in one night near the port city of Odesha.

So far, Ukraine has received more than 12 billion US dollars in aid in the form of arms and financial aid. Ukraine's PM Denis Schmihl has thanked all European countries including America. On the other hand, in the midst of the ongoing war between the two countries, top leaders and intelligence chiefs of Europe and America have expressed apprehension that Russia may use nuclear weapons in this war. However, Moscow denied this.

On Thursday, a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Western officials are publicly making unnecessary rhetoric about Russia's use of nuclear weapons on Ukraine. This is completely wrong because Moscow's action against Ukraine is a special military operation.

In fact, Russia had earlier conducted a nuclear missile maneuver, in view of which it was feared that Moscow might use nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
