Lord Narsingh Holikotsav Shobhayatra is organized on the day of Holi in Gorakhpur. Yogi Adityanath has been becoming the chief guest in this Holi for the last 25 years.

This time too Yogi Adityanath has come to attend the procession. After completing all the formalities here, the future CM of UP also addressed the public. He first congratulated the public on Holi and said that after two years we are celebrating this festival again without the restrictions of Corona, which is a matter of great joy.

CM Yogi has appealed to the public to definitely play Holi but play with caution. Do not forcibly paint the one who does not want to play, play with festival joy and do not hurt anyone's sentiments. Do not lose your senses in enthusiasm, celebrate the festival with decency. Holi cannot mean chaos.

Yogi said, festivals connect us with the past. Holika and Hiranyakashipu have been present in every society. Hiranyakashipu and Holika tried to deter the devotee Prahlad from his devotional path but could not succeed. We too should not deviate from our path like the devotee Prahlad.

The future CM also thanked the people for the victory in the elections and said that the people have chosen the nationalist government. The Center and the UP government did a good job even during the Corona period. Free food grains are being given twice a month to the poor, this has also happened for the first time. He said that our condolences to the families of those who died in Corona.

Yogi Adityanath further said that you are associated with the gaiety of Holi for the last 10 days. For the first time in the last two years, Corona is under control on Holi and this is the reason why we have been able to participate in this event. It is also a matter of second happiness that the people of UP have once again elected the government for nationalism and good governance. For the first time BJP won all 9 seats in Gorakhpur.
