The district administration has also issued a list of 14 people who died in a suspicious condition due to spurious liquor. The team that reached the investigation of the case was told by the family members that all had drank illegally supplied spurious liquor. Eight people died in the initial phase, but gradually the figure reached 16. Of these, two deaths were reported to be due to the disease. Whereas according to the villagers, 14 people have died due to drinking spurious liquor. But the administration is now talking about the death of only 4 people due to spurious liquor. The death of the other ten is being investigated as suspicious.
