IND vs AUS: Australia has made a strong start against India in the Gabba Test. The team has scored 405 runs for 7 wickets in its first innings on Sunday, the second day of the match. Wicketkeeper Alex Carey returned unbeaten on 45 and Mitchell Starc on 20 at stumps.

In this match being played at The Gabba ground in Brisbane, the host team started playing with a score of 28/0. Steve Smith scored 101 and Travis Head scored 152 runs for the Australian team. There was a partnership of 241 runs between the two for the fourth wicket. Opener Usman Khawaja was dismissed after scoring 21 runs. Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets from the Indian camp. Mohammad Siraj and Nitish Rana got one wicket each.

Mitchell Marsh was dismissed after scoring five runs and captain Pat Cummins was dismissed after scoring 20 runs. Cummins shared a 58-run partnership with Carey for the seventh wicket. Apart from Bumrah, Siraj and Nitish got one wicket each.
