New Delhi / Ayodhya Ram Temple should also have idols of Kewat and Shabari: Goa Governor Satyapal Malik

Goa Governor Satyapal Malik has suggested that the trust building the temple on the Ram Janmabhoomi should also install idols of Kewat and Shabari in the temple. Both were from tribal and backward communities. Kewat and Shabari helped Lord Rama while going to Lanka. In such a situation, space should also be allotted to install their idols in the temple.

Goa Governor Satyapal Malik has suggested about the Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya. He said that the trust building the temple on the Ram Janmabhoomi should also install idols of Kewat and Shabari in the temple. Both were from tribal and backward communities. Kewat and Shabari helped Lord Rama while going to Lanka. In such a situation, space should also be allotted to install their idols in the temple.

Malik said, "The whole country wants a huge Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya. While going to Lanka, Lord Ram was helped by tribals and people from backward castes. Those who helped him should also be accommodated in this temple. I am waiting for people to demand the installation of idols of Kevat and Shabari in the Ram temple. Nobody has made such a demand so far. ''

I will write a letter regarding Idols when the trust is formed: Malik

Malik said that the day the trust will be formed, I will write a letter for it. I would request that the idols of those who fought the battle of truth with Lord Rama are also installed in the temple. I am not afraid of controversy on this issue. Till the temple will not have a statue of Kevat and Shabari, neither this temple will be complete nor grand. ''
