BCCI News: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced its plan to unveil the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah revealed that a new state-of-the-art facility will be launched in Bengaluru soon. This will give a further boost to cricket in India. Jay Shah has also shared some pictures while posting on his Instagram. The BCCI had revealed its plan to build a new NCA facility near Bengaluru airport in February 2022. Today, after two years, it is now ready.No shortage of facilities!Two years after the year 2022, the facility is almost ready and will have three world class playing fields and 45 practice pitches. Apart from this, an indoor cricket pitch has been built for the players. So that despite bad weather, the practice of the players is not affected. An Olympic-sized swimming pool has been built for the players. At the same time, the new NCA will also have recovery and sports science facilities. The existing NCA facility was built in 2000 under the leadership of former BCCI President Raj Singh Dungarpur.
