In Jammu and Kashmir, the strong attack on terrorism by the security forces continues. For this, massive campaigns are being run continuously. Yesterday i.e. on Wednesday, the security forces got a big success. Six terrorists belonging to banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) including two Pakistani nationals have been killed in two separate encounters in Anantnag and Kulgam districts. The police have given this information on Thursday morning.Kashmir Zone Police tweeted quoting Kashmir Inspector General Vijay Kumar as saying, "Six terrorists of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed were killed in two separate encounters. Out of the killed terrorists, 4 have been identified as two Pakistanis and two local terrorists." The identity of the other two terrorists is being ascertained. It is a big success for us."According to officials, one encounter took place in Kulgam district and the other in Anantnag district, both in South Kashmir.Acting on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Mirhama area of Kulgam district. He said as the forces were conducting searches in the area, the hiding terrorists fired upon them. The officer said the forces retaliated, following which an encounter ensued in which three terrorists were killed.Officials also said that the second encounter took place in the Nowgam Shahabad area of Dooru in neighboring Anantnag. He said a policeman was injured in the operation and was taken to the hospital.
