Rajasthan Election: BJP has almost finalized the names of candidates for 49 seats in Rajasthan. According to sources, after deep brainstorming on the names suggested by the state unit, the top leadership has agreed to the names of the candidates for these seats. Sources say that the names of the candidates will be finalized after the Central Election Committee meeting next week and the first list is likely to be released after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Parivartan Yatra concluding rally in Jaipur on September 25.First of all, the party will release the list of candidates for D category seats which have lost in three consecutive elections. The party believes that with this the candidate on the weak seat will get more opportunity to campaign in the entire area. BJP has divided 200 seats of Rajasthan into four categories. At present, only the names of A and D category seats have been discussed between the state unit and the top leadership.In the state, the seats on which BJP has won three consecutive times since 2008 have been placed in the A group, while the seats on which it has lost three consecutive times have been included in the D group. Those seats in Group B and C are those on which sometimes there has been defeat and sometimes there has been victory. Sources said that most of the candidates will be repeated on the total 29 strong seats of Group A. Whereas new faces have got preference on 19 seats of D category.Candidates will be declared after the announcement of elections for B and C category seats.Party sources say that the tickets for B and C category seats will be deliberated upon and released only after the election is announced by the Election Commission. The party believes that premature announcement of candidates on B and C category seats can lead to rival candidates switching to other parties, especially as the Aam Aadmi Party is also making an electoral bid in the state. In such a situation, the candidate who gets tickets on these seats will If he is not found, he may be in danger of running away.B and C category seats challengingIn Rajasthan, it is a challenging task to decide the candidates for B and C category seats which are sometimes defeated and sometimes won. Keeping in view all types of equations ranging from caste, regional etc., the challenge here is to decide the candidate wisely. The party is in a mood to release the list of candidates for this category of seats only after the election announcement. In such a situation, the names of possible candidates for this category of seats have not been brainstormed yet.BJP kept these seats in Category ABundi, Kota South, Ladpura, Ramganjmandi, Jhalrapatan, Khanpur, Asind, Bhilwara, Udaipur, Rajsamand, Bikaner East, Ratangarh, Phulera, Vidyadhar Nagar, Malviya Nagar, Alwar City, Ajmer North, Ajmer South, Beawar, Nagaur, Sojat, Pali. The seats of Bali, Sursagar, Sanganer, Kota South, Ramganjmandi, Jhalrapatan, Khanpur, Siwana, Bhinmal are included.These seats were kept in D categoryThe seats of Barmer, Kotputli, Jhunjhunu, Nawalgarh, Khetri, Sikrai, Lalsot, Sardarpura, Bagidaura, Vallabhnagar, Sanchore, Jhunjhunu, Bari, Rajgarh-Laxmangarh, Sapotra, Fatehpur, Dantaramgarh, Bassi, Todabhim are included.However, the BJP Rajasthan unit has been asked to work towards making Prime Minister Modi's rally at the conclusion of Parivartan Rath Yatra to be held in Jaipur on September 25 a success. To make PM Modi's Jaipur rally successful, 50 thousand booth in-charges of the state have been given the responsibility of gathering 2.5 lakh crowd.For this, instructions have been given to take at least five persons from each booth to the rally. Apart from this, state officials of BJP are making arrangements to gather crowd at their respective levels. State BJP is trying to ensure that more than 3 lakh people attend PM's Jaipur rally.
