UK PM Race: With Britain just two weeks away from voting for the Conservative Party's leadership election, Rishi Sunak's team is set to be the 'underdog' (potentially defeated candidate) as rival Liz Truss leads the race for Boris Johnson's successor. It is busy redeeming the status and has released a video in this regard.

The video was used for the first time in Manchester on Friday night in which he is seen addressing various campaign events and party members. Whichever leader the party members choose will take over as the British Prime Minister on 5 September.

Sunak is continuously promoting his candidature

Sunak tweeted with this video that I will keep fighting for every vote till the last day. In the last 30 days of campaigning to succeed Johnson, Sunak has conducted 100 events to reach out to 16,000 party members.

In this video 42-year-old former British minister of Indian origin is interacting with voters. He is also seen taking a light nap and a voice is coming from behind, "Fight for every inch". There was nothing to lose. An underdog fights for every inch."

Can Truss win elections?

"They work hard, last a long time, think smart, underdogs don't leave the field, they'll do tough things and never get complacent," it says in recent surveys and speculators. According to the truss there is a chance of victory. She is campaigning for a tax cut scheme to solve the economic crisis amid rising prices in Britain.
