Hours after pictures of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went viral on social media, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's new pet dog 'Gullu' became an internet sensation. The chief minister offered prayers at the Gorakhnath temple on Sunday and when he came out, Gullu, a black Labrador puppy, ran towards him.

Gorakhpur: Hours after pictures of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath went viral on social media, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's new pet dog 'Gullu' became an internet sensation. The chief minister offered prayers at the Gorakhnath temple on Sunday and when he came out, Gullu, a black Labrador puppy, ran towards him. The Chief Minister loved the puppy and fed him biscuits, the people present in the temple premises clicked the pictures fiercely.


Yogi became CM only after 3 months of bringing Kalu to the temple

Sources in the temple premises said that whenever Yogi Adityanath visits the temple, Gullu always runs to meet the chief minister. Earlier, the Chief Minister had a black dog named Kalu. Today the photos of the Chief Minister with Kalu also went viral, Yogi fed him pieces of cheese. Kalu was brought to the Goraksha temple in December 2016 and Yogi Adityanath became the chief minister three months later in March 2017.

A dog also named Raja Babu

Yogi also had a dog named Raja Babu earlier, which had died and Yogi became very upset after that. A temple source said that this black dog was gifted to Yogi ji in Delhi by a devotee of the temple. Kalu stayed in Delhi for some time and then was brought to Gorakhpur.
