In the Panchayat elections, the family of the MLA and former Energy Minister Ramvir Upadhyay's family in Hathras district of UP has come out openly. Seema Upadhyay, wife of former minister, has nominated as an Independent for the post of Member from Ward No. 14 of District Panchayat. At the same time, Devrani Ritu Upadhyay has also filed nomination as a BJP candidate from the same ward in front of his daughter.

Seema Upadhyay, wife of former minister Ramveer Upadhyay, has been the president of the district panchayat of Hathras district in the years 2000 and 2005 and has also been a MP on the BSP ticket from Fatehpur Sikri seat of Agra, defeating Congress leader Rajabbar in 2009.

On the other hand, Mukul Upadhyay, younger brother of former minister Ramveer, has been a former BSP MLA and former MLC and is currently in the BJP. Ritu Upadhyay, who is contesting against her Jethani Seema Upadhyay, is the wife of Mukul Upadhyay.

Let us know that former Energy Minister Ramvir Upadhyaya, once considered to be close to former Chief Minister and BSP supremo Mayawati, is suspended from BSP for supporting BJP candidates in the last Lok Sabha elections.

Former minister Ramvir Upadhyay and his wife Seema Upadhyay claimed their victory after filing the form. During this time, the former minister refused to comment on the encounter with his brother Mukul's wife.

The next day, when Mukul was confronted with the media after filing his wife's form, he too did not make any sarcastic remarks towards his elder brother, saying only that his wife was being contested by the BJP. So what to do with consulting elder brother. He does not know what party he is in now.

Mukul, claiming himself to be a BJP soldier, claimed his wife's victory. Overall, the contest on the ward number 14 in the district panchayat elections in Hathras has become interesting due to the intense fighting of the relationship.
