The same day also marks the anniversary of the accession of the erstwhile Hyderabad state to the Indian Union.

Leaders will go door to door and tell about five guarantees

After the public meeting, the Congress president will flag off the convoy of CWC members, PCC presidents and CLP leaders who will visit each of the 119 assembly constituencies in Telangana for an overnight stay and participate in party programs on September 18. He alleged that whenever undemocratic laws were brought in Parliament, KCR's party supported the Modi government. He said, "The parties which are supporting BJP are against the people and anti-democracy." Senior leader and CWC member Jairam Ramesh said, "Helding the CWC meeting here is historic.
