Coronavirus Lockdown: Everyday a record number of cases of Corona are coming from Delhi and Maharashtra. People are now afraid of lockdown. In the second wave of Corona, hospitals have been filled, while there is no place to set foot on railway stations. Amidst the growing cases of Corona, there is a call for a lockdown once again, and this makes the terrified workers want to reach their homes as soon as possible. This is the reason that there are queues at many railway stations in Maharashtra, while there is a huge crowd at Delhi's bus stations.

Corona has once again started to wreak havoc on the workers. Fearing loss of employment, workers leave these cities and leave for their homes. In many places in Delhi, the laborers were seen carrying their belongings on their shoulders and going to the village with the children at the bus stands. The outbound trains in Mumbai have been overcrowded since last weekend amid talk of a complete lockdown in Maharashtra to curb the growing cases of Kovid-19. Railway sources gave this information on Monday.

Crowd at bus stations and railway station

A laborer going from Delhi to his village at the Anand Vihar bus station said, "The rapid increase in cases makes it clear that the lockdown will be imposed. That is why I am going home." On the other hand, a laborer returning from Maharashtra said, "Medical facilities are less for the people and vaccination is also slowing down." They have predicted the situation of lockdown so decided to return home for some time. ”

However, the railway administration cited the summer season as a cause of congestion during which a large number of people travel to their home places. Sources said that the Bihar-bound trains have been overcrowded since the state government imposed new restrictions on Kovid-19 earlier this month, but the weekend saw more congestion.

Considering the increase in the cases of Kovid-19, the Maharashtra government is speculating to consider a complete lockdown. An employee of Central Railway posted at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus said that there has been a significant increase in the number of passengers at the station in Mumbai for the last few days. He said, "The trains have been very crowded for the last few days."

Record number of cases are coming every day
