The G7, a group of seven industrialized countries, includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Britain and the US. According to the statement, the purpose of these meetings is to find new avenues of trade and investment, resolve bilateral trade issues and strengthen economic cooperation. Goyal will discuss this during the outreach session of the G7 Trade Ministers' meeting (16-17 July) in Italy. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said, "During this visit, Goyal will also attend bilateral meetings with trade ministers of G7 countries and other countries participating in the outreach session.

Trade and investment will get a boost

This will strengthen India's commitment to global trade and investment partnership. " According to the statement, during this time Goyal will tell about the trade and investment opportunities present in India. The ministry said that before visiting Italy, Goyal will be in Switzerland on July 14-15 and will discuss the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA).
