Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan: India is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence. Preparations are going on in full swing for 15th August i.e. Independence Day and it is now in its final form. Meanwhile, the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' campaign will start from today. Under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, the government is running a campaign 'Har Ghar Tiranga' to make Independence Day special. From today people will hoist the tricolor flag at their homes and establishments.

Under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, the government has appealed to all the people to hoist the tricolor at their homes or establishments from August 13 to 15. The postal department is also playing an important role in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign by selling the national flag.

'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign begins from today

On the 75th anniversary of independence, under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the Tricolor campaign will start from today, which will run till August 15. To mark the 75th year of India's Independence Day, the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, encouraging people to carry and hoist the tricolor from door to door, will start from today.

PM Modi had appealed

The central government has already urged the states and union territories to encourage people to put up the national flag at their homes as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign to express gratitude towards the national heroes. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to all the people to put the tricolor at their homes.

When can the tricolor be hoisted?

There is a lot of enthusiasm about the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign across the country. Earlier it was necessary in the country that if the tricolor is hoisted in the open, then it was a rule to be hoisted from sunrise to sunset. It was amended by the government in July 2022 and now people will be able to hoist the national flag day and night at their home.
