Rajasthan News: Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan at the end of this year, but the ruling Congress in the state faces more danger from its own leaders than from BJP and others. The fire of ruckus in Rajasthan Congress does not seem to calm down. As soon as he gets time, Congress leader Sachin Pilot starts spewing venom against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. At present, a demand of Pilot has once again created a ruckus within the Congress.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot has opened a new front against the Gehlot government before the state assembly elections. He has accused the current Ashok Gehlot government of being soft against the BJP leaders accused in the corruption case and giving them benefits. Since the formation of the Congress government in Rajasthan in December 2018, there has been a tussle between Gehlot and Pilot over the post of Chief Minister. Tension has increased in the Congress on Pilot's current move.

Randhawa hit back at the pilot

State in-charge of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has called it completely wrong while questioning the method of the pilot. Randhawa says that if there was any issue, he should have raised it before him. Randhawa, who became in-charge of Rajasthan Congress in December last year, said that he has held meetings with Pilot more than 20 times since December, but never did Pilot put forward any such thing. However, he said that he would meet and talk to the pilot.

He told news agency PTI, “We have taken action against Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, even he filed a defamation case against the Chief Minister. The second thing is that what we have done in Rajasthan, schemes like loan waiver of farmers, electricity bills, subsidy on cylinders, bringing back the old pension scheme, he (Pilot) should have talked about that and then said that Now we have to take action against corruption. But it was not fair.

What did the pilot say?

In fact, Sachin Pilot has announced a one-day fast at the martyr's memorial in Jaipur on April 11, demanding an inquiry into the 'corruption' in the previous BJP government. He said that on the day of Mahatma Jyoti Ba Phule's birth anniversary, he will fast for a day at the martyr's memorial. Jyotiba Phule was from Saini community, Gehlot also comes from this community.

Pilot said at his residence, 'No action was taken (by the Gehlot government) on the corruption that happened during the previous Vasundhara Raje government. While in the opposition, we had promised that the Rs 45,000 crore mining scam would be investigated. With 6-7 months left for the elections, the opponents can spread the illusion that there is some collusion. That's why action will have to be taken soon so that Congress workers feel that there is no difference between our words and actions.

Congress high command with whom?

After Sachin Pilot accused the Gehlot government, the party high command said in favor of Gehlot that the government has brought the state to a leadership position. The government will seek votes from the public on the basis of its works. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that the Rajasthan government under the leadership of Gehlot has implemented a large number of schemes. Along with this, new initiatives have also been taken. It seems from the statement of Jairam Ramesh that the Congress high command is firmly standing with Ashok Gehlot.

BJP also targeted

On Pilot alleging corruption during the BJP regime, Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore said that Sachin Pilot should have raised the demand for a fair probe into the corruption cases that took place during the Congress government's tenure of 4 years and 4 months. He said, “Instead of making unbridled allegations against the previous BJP regime, Pilot should have raised the demand for a fair probe into the corruption cases that took place during the 4 years and 4 months tenure of his own Congress government. But it is unfortunate that he did not utter a single word on the dark deeds of his own government.

BJP counted the scams of Congress

Rathore said that there is an orgy of corruption in the Gehlot government from top to bottom. It would be good that the exploits of the Chief Minister should also be investigated. He said that Pilot should demand an inquiry into the corruption in the matter of allowing the Adani group to buy 5.79 million tonnes of coal, the costliest so far, through a tender for Rs 1,042 crore, flouting the RTPP Act. Rathore reiterated the demand for an inquiry into the expensive power purchase scam from private power producers and the Jaipur, Jodhpur and Ajmer discom cases.
