Business / Historic deal between G7 countries for Google Facebook like multinational companies will pay 15 percent corporate tax

All the countries of the G7 group including the United States, Britain are going to make a historic agreement. This deal is about imposing high global taxes on multinational companies like Google, Apple, Facebook. Under this, corporate tax of 15 percent will be levied on these companies. It has been agreed between all the countries and the deal will be signed in Cornwall to be held from June 11 to 13.

Demand was rising for many years

According to a report published in Gadgets 360 Degree, after chairing the meeting in London, UK Finance Minister Rishi Sunak said, 'The finance ministers of the G-7 group countries have improved the global tax system. Historical agreement has been agreed to. Britain had been demanding these tax reforms for a long time. This will give big rewards to UK taxpayers. Also, it will be ensured that all companies pay the right tax at the right place.

Companies will have to tell the impact on the environment

It has been agreed among the finance ministers of the G7 countries that companies will now also have to disclose the environmental impacts they are responsible for. So that investors can easily decide whether they want to fund those companies or not. The G7 group consists of Britain, America, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan.

Cornwall will be stamped

This meeting of finance ministers comes ahead of the annual summit meeting of the G-7 leaders. The agreement will be ratified at the G7 summit. The summit will be held in Cornwall from 11-13 June under the chairmanship of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
