India / Historic decision by court: MM Joshi on Babri Masjid demolition verdict

BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi on Wednesday said the decision by special CBI court on Babri Masjid's demolition was historic. Joshi and 31 others, including LK Advani and Uma Bharti, were acquitted on Wednesday of criminal conspiracy charges in Babri Masjid demolition case after around 28 years. "Our program and rallies were not part of any conspiracy," Joshi added.

New Delhi: A special court in Lucknow delivered the much-awaited judgment on Wednesday in the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition case. All the 32 accused, including BJP veterans L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, have been acquitted.

After the judgment on Babri Masjid demolition case BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi said, “we are happy that the court looked into all the facts rhat were in our favour. The entire agitation was for construction of Ram Mandir.

Will say in the end.. Jai Jai Siya Ram"

Mr. Joshi also thanks all lawyers involved in the case for working hard on a complicated case.
