Sunita Williams: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) pilot Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore flew into space on June 5. Sunita and Butch had gone on Boeing's Starliner to fix the problem in the rotational lab in space, but now both of them are stuck on the International Space Station (ISS). Although both were going to return on June 13, but now their return date has been extended and it is not decided on which date they will return.

NASA and India's Space Research Organization have put forward information on how safe Sunita and Butch are trapped in the International Space Station. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief S Somnath said that the delayed return of astronaut Sunita Williams from the International Space Station should not be a matter of concern. He said that the space station is a safe place for people to stay for a long time.

What did ISRO say?

In an interview, the ISRO chief said, it is not necessary to talk at this time when Sunita Williams or the passengers trapped with her will return. Rather, it is necessary to discuss that the new crew module called Boeing Starliner should be tested properly. Its ability to go there and then return safely should be tested.

What did NASA say about safety?

NASA informed that NASA is extending this mission for 90 days. Which means that now both the astronauts will return for the next 90 days. NASA said that we are in no hurry to bring the astronauts back. NASA crew program manager Steve Stich said, the ISS station is a good, safe place to stop and stay for a long time.

The astronauts were initially sent for an eight-day mission, but now they will have to stay longer on the ISS. However, NASA said that the spacecraft has enough resources to assist the passengers.
