Himachal / HRTC bus crashes, two including woman killed, 15 injured

Two including a woman have died in an accident of an HRTC bus near Jheed village of Gahar, a gram panchayat under Sarkaghat sub-division of Mandi district. According to the information received, the accident is said to have happened at around one o'clock in the afternoon. Police and rescue teams have rushed to the spot.

As soon as the local people came to know about the accident, people rushed to the spot with immediate effect and started relief and rescue operations. The injured are being taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. There is screaming at the spot. So far, according to the information received from the local people, two have died in this accident while 15 passengers are said to be injured. The condition of four of them is said to be serious.

SP Mandi Shalini Agnihotri has confirmed the accident. He told that the police team from Sarkaghat police station has left for the spot along with the rescue team. It is only after the team reaches the spot that the whole situation can be said clearly. The reasons for the accident are yet to be ascertained.
