International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the Player of the Month Award for the month of November. England's T20 World Cup-winning captain Jos Buttler has been voted Player of the Month for the first time after his stellar performance in November. Pakistan's Sidra Amin has been given this award in the women's category for her outstanding performance in the ODI series against Ireland.

England won the T20 World Cup title

Jos Buttler, one of the most dangerous batsmen in world cricket, won the player of the match award after his brilliant performance in a dramatic 20-run win against New Zealand in Brisbane earlier this month. He laid a great foundation for England's T20 World Cup campaign by scoring 73 off 47 balls. After England reached the knockout stage, Butler scored an unbeaten 80 off 49 balls against India to help his team win by 10 wickets.

After winning the Player of the Month (ICC Player of the Month) award, Butler said, 'I express my gratitude to the fans, who voted to elect me as the ICC Player of the Month for November. I got this award because of the efforts of my team mates. It was an incredible month for us in which we won the T20 World Cup title in Australia.

Sidra Amin also rocked

Sidra Ameen has been adjudged Player of the Month in the women's category for her stellar performance in the ODI series against Ireland in November. He scored 277 runs in this series and was dismissed only once. Amin scored an unbeaten 176 in the first match and played a key role in helping his team win by 128 runs. In the second match, he scored an unbeaten 91 off 93 balls to give the team a nine-wicket win.
