KKR vs SRH: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has reached the finals by winning the first qualifier of IPL. The team defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 8 wickets. Kolkata has reached the final for the fourth time. Earlier, the team had reached the finals of the 2021 season. Hyderabad won the toss and chose to bat at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and were all out for 159 runs in 19.3 overs. In reply, Kolkata achieved the target for 2 wickets in 13.4 overs. Venkatesh Iyer played an unbeaten inning of 51 runs and Shreyas Iyer played an unbeaten inning of 58 runs. There was an unbeaten partnership of 97 runs between the two on 44 balls. Pat Cummins and T. Natarajan got one wicket each.

Apart from him, Klaasen contributed 32 runs on 21 balls and Cummins contributed 30 runs on 24 balls. Hyderabad's batting was so bad in this match that only four batsmen of the team could reach double figures. If Hyderabad wants to reach the final, its bowlers will have to perform well.
