Poonawala said, 3,000 crore is needed to increase production

In an interview to NDTV recently, Poonawala also expressed concern about the production of the vaccine. Poonawala said that if we need Rs 3,000 crore to accelerate the production of vaccine, that is not a small amount. We have already spent thousands of crores of capital. We have to adopt different ways, so that we can contribute to deal with the growing crisis of Corona in the country.

The company is producing 6 crore vaccines every month

Currently, the company is producing 6 to 7 crore vaccines every month. Currently, frontline workers in India, all over the age of 45, are getting vaccinated. Apart from this, there is a demand to vaccinate other people in the country. However, no decision has been taken in this regard till now. But it is being said that soon the youth may decide to vaccinate.
