India / Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tests positive for COVID-19, admitted to AIIMS

A press release issued by AIIMS Delhi on Sunday said that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tested positive for COVID-19 on March 19. He was admitted to AIIMS COVID Centre for observation on March 20. He is stable and all his parameters are normal, said the release signed by Dr Aarti Vij, Chairperson, Media Cell and Protocol Division, AIIMS Delhi.

New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on March 19, reported news agency ANI on Sunday.

"He was admitted to AIIMS COVID Centre for observation on March 20. He is stable and his parameters are normal," a release by AIIMS read.
