Big Mistake / Man was given both doses of Corona Vaccine within 5 minutes

Lucknow: A case of major negligence has come to light from Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a person was given both doses of Corona Vaccine within 5 minutes. The incident took place at a vaccination center in Ravarpura locality, after which there was a stir.

Both doses were applied within 5 minutes

According to reports, the person who went there on Wednesday to get the vaccine has alleged that the nursing staff were so busy talking among themselves that they gave him the second dose of the vaccine within five minutes. He said he did not know that the second dose of the vaccine was to be injected after a certain time interval. He claimed that when he reached home after getting the vaccine, he felt uneasy, so he told his family members about the incident.

No harm in double vaccination

He then approached the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and complained about it. He was then sent to an emergency ward and the matter was also reported to the district officer. Meanwhile, the CMO has ordered an inquiry into the matter. He said that double vaccination will not harm the man. Let us tell you that there should be a gap of at least 4 weeks between two doses of the vaccine.
