Delhi Liquor Scam: In the Delhi liquor scam case, Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi has once again been given a setback by the Rouse Avenue Court. In which case was he arrested?

Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was arrested in the money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam. Manish Sisodia was arrested on 26 February last year. And since then Sisodia is in jail. He has also appeared before the Rouse Avenue Court several times but he has not got relief till now. The court always extends his judicial custody. This time the Rouse Avenue Court has extended his judicial custody till July 6.

Delhi CM is out on interim bail

Apart from Manish Sisodia, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also arrested in the Delhi liquor policy case. But he is currently out of jail on interim bail. ED arrested Arvind Kejriwal on March 21. Arvind Kejriwal had sought bail from the Supreme Court citing the Lok Sabha elections. The court accepted his demand and granted him interim bail for 21 days. This interim bail granted to Kejriwal to campaign in the elections is going to expire on June 2.
