Rajasthan / Pickup and car seized with 190 cartoons of beer, three accused arrested

Chhotisaddi police station of Pratapgarh district has seized 190 cartoons of beer by blockade. This illegal beer was being carried in a pickup, an alto call was also escorting it. Police have seized both the pickup and the car and arrested three accused. The arrested accused are being interrogated.

Pratapgarh SP Dr. Amrita Duhan told that the police team of Chhotisadi police station had put up a blockade near Ramdevji bus stand. Meanwhile, the pickup coming from Nimbahera's side was stopped and searched. The driver and his accomplice have been arrested after 190 cartoon beers were found from the pickup.

The Alto car, which was escorting the pickup, was seized and its driver was also arrested. Police have arrested Bhanwar Singh Songra son Chain Singh (32), resident of Dhamotar, Satish alias Satya Narayan Tank, son Shanti Lal (32), resident of Dholapani police station and Vishnu Lal (24), son of Vijay Kumawat, resident of Hathunia police station. The value of the seized beer is around Rs 5 lakh. Police have registered a case against the accused.
