Mail and Express trains will be allowed to run from Kalyan to Kurla section without any hindrance. The problems of Colaba and Mumbra will also go away due to the block which happens every Sunday. Metro has also been expanded in Mumbai in the last seven years. The Mumbai suburban rail service is also being equipped with modern facilities.

The Prime Minister said that this new railway line will bring a big change in the lives of the people of Mumbai, making their lives easier. From today 36 new locals are going to run on the Central Railway line. Most of these are also air conditioned trains. This is part of the commitment of the Central Government to expand the facilities of the local, modernize the local. PM Modi said that Mumbai metropolis has contributed significantly to the progress of independent India. Efforts are being made to increase the capacity of Mumbai manifold in building a self-reliant India. That's why we have a special focus on building 21st century infrastructure in Mumbai.

PM Modi said that the modern railway stations of Gandhinagar and Bhopal are becoming the identity of the Railways. Today more than 6000 railway stations are connected with WiFi facility. Vande Bharat trains are giving speed and modern convenience to the country's railways. In the coming years, 400 new Vande Bharat trains will start serving the countrymen.

Rail lines have been constructed at a cost of Rs 600 crore

Significantly, these railway lines connecting Thane and Diva have been constructed at a cost of about 600 crores. It consists of a 1.4 km long flyover, three major bridges and 21 minor bridges. With the introduction of these lines, the traffic of suburban trains of Mumbai will be reduced to some extent. At present Kalyan is the major junction of Central Railway. Where railway traffic coming from northern and southern part meets and goes towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
