PM Modi Russia Visit: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will make an official visit to Russia and Austria on 08-10 July 2024. Information about this visit of PM Modi has been given by the Ministry of External Affairs. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the Prime Minister will be in Moscow from 8 to 9 July to attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The ministry said that the two leaders will review the multifaceted relations and share views on contemporary regional and global issues of mutual interest.

PM Modi's schedule in Russia

Speaking about PM Modi's upcoming visit to Russia, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said, "The Prime Minister will pay an official visit to Moscow on July 8-9 at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation for the 22nd Annual Summit... As of now, the Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Moscow on the afternoon of July 8. President Putin will host a private dinner for the Prime Minister on the day of arrival. On the next day, the Prime Minister's interactions will include interaction with the Indian community in Russia. The Prime Minister will also pay floral tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Kremlin and thereafter the Prime Minister will visit the Exhibition site in Moscow. These interactions will be followed by talks between the two leaders, followed by delegation-level talks led by the Prime Minister and the Russian President..."

PM Modi's schedule in Austria

Speaking about PM Modi's upcoming visit to Austria, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said, "The Prime Minister will visit Austria on July 9-10 at the invitation of the Chancellor of Austria. This will be Prime Minister Narendra Modi's first visit to Austria...The last Prime Ministerial visit from India to Austria took place more than 40 years ago. The Prime Minister will also meet the President of Austria and hold high-level business engagement as well as delegation-level talks in Austria..."
