Jaipur: Panch-sarpanch, who is standing in the panchayat elections, will get a week's time to campaign this time. They will be allotted election marks a week in advance, which will give voters full opportunity to choose their representative. Panchayat elections will be held in three phases. For this, the Election Department has started preparations. Elections will be held in 3 phases for sarpanch and 2789 ward panches of 279 gram panchayats in the district. In the first phase elections to be held on January 17, there will be elections for sarpanch and 986 ward panch of 96 gram panchayats of Ratangarh, Sujangarh and Bidasar. In the second phase on January 22, elections will be held for sarpanch and 630 ward panches of 60 gram panchayats of Churu, Taranagar. In the third phase to be held on January 29, Sadulpur and Sardarshahar will hold elections for sarpanchs and 1173 wardpunches of 123 gram panchayats. Voting will be held from 8 am to 5 pm. Counting will take place on the same day.These changes in the election The nomination was filed a day before the first election. The election symbol would have been allotted after the name reference. Elections were held in ballot paper. Results were announced on the second day. Now a week before the Panch-Sarpanch will have to file nomination. Election marks will be received seven days in advance. Sarpanch elections will be held through EVM and Panchayat elections through ballot paper.
