Apart from this, states have been given exemption that they can decide the priority group for vaccination of people above 18 years of age. Under the new guidelines, information will be given in advance about the vaccines given by the central government to the states. After this, the states will have to give this information to the district administration. Not only this, details of how many vaccines have been allotted for which district will also have to be given. The government has said that the district administration will have to reach out to the general public about the availability of vaccines.State governments will monitor vaccination in private hospitalsThe central government has also given instructions regarding the cost of vaccines in private hospitals. Under the new order, the price of vaccines in private hospitals will be fixed by the manufacturing companies. Apart from this, in case of any change, the hospitals will be informed in advance. In addition to the fixed price of the vaccine, service charge up to Rs 150 can be recovered from private hospitals for a single dose of corona vaccine. Whether the right price is being charged for the vaccine in private hospitals or not.
