Voting will be held in Mainpuri on December 5.

Samajwadi Party has nominated Dimple Yadav, daughter-in-law of Mulayam Singh and wife of Akhilesh Yadav, from Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Raghuraj Singh Shakya, a former SP leader and close aide of Shivpal Yadav, from Mainpuri.
