Importance of seat sharing

This seat sharing formula between SP and Congress is considered a big step in the politics of Uttar Pradesh, as in recent years there have been many ups and downs regarding the alliance between the two parties. Both the parties are preparing to challenge the strong base of BJP together. The division of seats is an indication that both the parties are taking strategic steps to woo their voters.

Importance of by-elections

These by-elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh are considered very important for BJP, SP and Congress, as these elections will be a big opportunity to understand the pulse of the people before the 2024 general elections. The results of the by-elections will indicate which way the voters are leaning and what could be the political equations for the upcoming elections.

This alliance of SP and Congress reflects opposition unity against BJP, which can have a long-term impact on the politics of the state. Now it remains to be seen what results this partnership brings and how the performance of both the parties is in the by-elections.
