WPL 2023: All the preparations for the Women's Premier League have been done. A few days back, the BCCI had organized an auction for this big cricket league in Mumbai. Big bids were placed on many players in the auction. At the same time, RCB made the biggest bid of 3.4 crores on Smriti Mandhana. Apart from this, many excellent international players like Alice Parry, Sophie Devine and Megan Schutt were also bought by this team in the auction. At the same time, the great tennis player Sania Mirza has also got a big role in this team.

Of Sania's 6 Grand Slam titles, three are mixed doubles trophies which she won with Mahesh Bhupathi (2009 Australian Open, 2012 French Open) and Brazilian Bruno Soares (2014 US Open).

Mandhana went to RCB team

The first bid for the women's IPL went to India's star batsman Smriti Mandhana. RCB and Mumbai Indians team bid fiercely for Mandhana. But in the end, the RCB team made a big bid of 3.4 crores on Mandhana. Mandhana became the most expensive player in the first set.
