Karni Mata Deshnok: This time a historic and unprecedented Mahaprasadi is being organized in the famous Karni Mata temple of Bikaner. Under the 'Sawan Bhado Kadhai' Mahaprasadi, 17,500 kg of lentil halwa will be prepared, which can be considered the largest bhog not only in India but in the whole world. This Mahaprasadi will be distributed to the devotees on the first day of the new year. Before the preparation of this wonderful bhog, a special story is being organized in the temple premises, which the devotees are listening to with great reverence and faith.

Dal ka halwa is being prepared for the first time in 100 years

The temple's Mahant Dr. Karni Pratap Singh said that in this year's event, dal ka halwa is being prepared for the first time in 100 years. For this, 3,130 kg of moong dal, 3,130 kg of ghee, 1 kg of saffron, 3,912 kg of sugar, 4,500 kg of mawa, 6 kg of cardamom, 100 kg of almond shavings and 51 kg of pistachios are being used. More than 200 workers have been working in the temple for the last two days to prepare this huge offering.

Halwa is being prepared in a huge cauldron

A huge cauldron specially prepared in the temple premises is being used to make halwa. The size and weight of this cauldron is also quite large, and it was earlier heated with wood, but now it is being heated electric. With this technique, halwa is prepared quickly and simplifies the process of preparing prasad. The workers are using "Khurpa" to fry the lentils in the cauldron, who are doing their work with full devotion. After this the halwa will be poured into a big cauldron and distributed among the devotees.

Claim in Guinness Book of World Records

The organizers of this huge bhog claim that this will be the biggest bhog not only in Deshnok but in the whole world. For this, the team of International Book of World Records has been specially called. They are going to reach Deshnok this evening to register the record of this unique event. The organizers are claiming that no other place has been able to make such a huge amount of prasad as this bhog till now.

Maharaja Ganga Singh's Kadhai

This huge bhog is being prepared in the cauldron made by former Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner. The size and weight of this cauldron is very big, and its history is also very important. Earlier this pan was heated with wood, but now it is heated quickly through the electric system, due to which the halwa is prepared quickly and the prasad can be distributed on time.
