Vacancy News: There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs. Staff Selection Commission has released the vacancy for the post of Stenographer. Under this, recruitment will be done on the posts of Stenographer Grade C and D in the Central Government Departments. Candidates can apply till August 23 by visiting the official website of the Staff Selection Commission, ssc.nic.in. After this the selection process will start in October.

Salary

On selection, the candidate will be given a salary ranging from Rs 44 thousand 900 to Rs 1 lakh 42 thousand 400 every month.

Ability

To apply in the recruitment process, the candidate must have passed 12th from a recognized school.

Selection process

In the recruitment process, the selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written test. Which will be conducted on online computer mode. After this skill test (detection and transcription) will have to be given. Final posting will be given on the basis of merit. However, the documents of the candidates will be verified before the final posting. Only eligible candidates will get the posting.

Age Range

To become a Stenographer, the general category candidate must be at least 18 years old and not more than 30 years old. On the other hand, the reserved category candidates have been given age relaxation as per the government rules. In these, SC-ST category candidates have been given a relaxation of 5 years. While OBC candidate will get 3 years relaxation.

Application fee

To apply in the recruitment process, the candidate will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying the application fee.
