Uttar Pradesh / The car crushed three including Deorani Jethani who were coming to vote all died

In Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) on Thursday, 2 women and a bike rider returning after voting were hit by a car, killing all three. Some people have also been reported injured in this accident. Police said that after the accident, the driver escaped leaving three children sitting in the car on the spot.

Saharanpur: Half a dozen voters, including a bike rider, were crushed by an uncontrolled car with Deorani-Jethani coming home after casting their vote in Saharanpur. The bike rider including Deorani-Jethani died in the accident. After the accident, the driver escaped leaving the car on the spot. Police have taken the car into possession. Family members have filed a case in unknown.

Deorani Rukmani, resident of village Sorana of Sarsawa block, and Jethani Rekha came out of the polling station in the primary school near Ambala Highway when the car coming from Saharanpur hit them both at the same time. Meanwhile, the uncontrolled car caught half a dozen other voters.

After the accident there was screaming all around. The police, who reached the spot, admitted the seriously injured people to the Medical College, Pilkhani, with the help of the local people. Where Rukmani (45) and Rekha (47) died. Along with this, another bike rider Yashpal Putra Rum Singh resident village Nalhera Gurjar also succumbed. There was chaos in the family as soon as the information was received. After the accident, the excitement of the panchayat elections turned into a hot atmosphere. Station President Praveen Kumar said that the family members have filed a case in unknown. The driver left the car and fled. The car has been taken over by the police.
