Dehradun. It has been just a week since the Chardham Yatra started in Uttarakhand and more than 15 people have died. This whole incident has now exposed the preparations of the Health Department. Although the Lashkar Health Department has devoted its entire life to the Chardham Yatra, but still the death of people raises a big question. Now a major reason behind this is also believed to be the absence of mandatory health screening.

Even though the Health Department may claim lakhs of its preparations for the Chardham Yatra, so far 15 people have died due to heart attack and other health reasons in the Yatra which started from May 3. At the same time, 1 person lost his life due to slipping. The lack of mandatory health screening is also believed to be a major reason, which the health department believes is not possible in view of the number of devotees. In view of the shortage of cardiologist, the department had got the doctors trained for 15 days from AIIMS.

where how many people

Under the First Medical Response Team, 13 places in Gangotri, 20 places in Badrinath, 25 places in Uttarkashi, 8 mini blood banks, 4 blood storage, 108 ambulance-102 places while the departmental 113 ambulances work for the care of devotees who came to Chardham Yatra. Still working

Transport department also has problems

At the same time, there are orders of the government to limit the number of devotees in the dhams. But in managing it, the Transport Department is assuming that there is a problem, green cords, trip cards have been issued, but people are reaching through private vehicle to heli service, which is facing problem in managing. Now people on the journey cannot be stopped from visiting, but if guidelines are issued regarding registration as well as health checkup, then the death toll due to health reasons can definitely be reduced.
