This time monitoring of Kedarnath Yatra starting from May 6 will be done directly from the Prime Minister's Office. The Prime Minister himself will watch the live telecast of the Yatra from his office. The Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and District Magistrate will also be able to see the condition of travel arrangements from their offices.

Kedarnath to Rudraprayag and Dehradun to PMO are being linked with an integrated network. This is the first time that Kedarnath Yatra will be seen live from the Prime Minister's Office.

This time PM Modi himself will see Baba Kedar's journey from his office. SWAN and NIC have installed 10 High Frequency IP Cameras between Kedarnath to Sonprayag for live broadcast and monitoring of the Yatra. Through these cameras, every part of the 17 km pedestrian path including the entire Kedarnath will be monitored. Sonprayag to Rudraprayag District Magistrate Office has been linked by radio frequency.

Kedarnath Yatra can be monitored through LED installed in DM office and Yatra control room. At the same time, by linking the Secretariat to the Integrated Network from the District Office Rudraprayag and the NIC Integrated to the PMO Office, the Yatra can be seen live. At the same time, there will be communication through video and audio calling with the officials regarding the arrangements on the travel route.

Modi took stock of drone camera

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already inspected the work being done under Kedarnath reconstruction through a drone camera. In the year 2018 and 2019, Modi had inspected the Shankaracharya Samadhi Sthal, the Aastha Path built on the Saraswati river and the expansion works of the temple complex through drone cameras. During this, while talking to the then Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, Utpal Kumar, he took information about the works.

Kedarnath Yatra can also be seen live from PMO office. All necessary preparations have been completed for this. IP cameras have been installed at marked locations. Also, the process of linking Sonprayag to Rudraprayag, Dehradun and PMO office is going on.
