According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, now the number of active cases in the country has increased to 5 lakh 90 thousand 611. According to the data, 40 thousand 863 people were cured yesterday, after which so far 3 crore 44 lakh 53 thousand 603 people have become infection free.

So far more than 151 crore doses have been given

Under the nationwide vaccination campaign, more than 151 crore doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines have been given so far. Yesterday 89 lakh 28 thousand 316 doses were given, after which 151 crore 57 lakh 60 thousand 645 doses of vaccine have been given so far. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 91 percent of the adult population in the country has been given at least one dose of vaccines, while 66 percent of the population has been fully vaccinated. In the country, 22 percent of adolescents in the age group of 15-17 have received the first dose of anti-Kovid-19 vaccines.

15 lakh 13 thousand 377 sample tests were done yesterday

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has informed that 15 lakh 63 thousand 566 sample tests were done for corona virus in India yesterday.
