PM Modi In Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach his parliamentary constituency Varanasi from today on a two-day visit. During this time he will give gifts worth crores to Kashi and Purvanchal. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate 37 projects worth more than Rs 19 thousand crores. On the first day of the tour, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam from Namoghat at 5.15 pm.

PM Modi will flag off the Kashi Tamil Sangam Express from Kanyakumari to Banaras from here. Before this he will participate in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The projects that PM Modi will gift to Kashi and Purvanchal include many projects including roads and bridges, health and education, police welfare, smart city and urban development projects, railways, airports.

Will inaugurate Swaraveda Mahamandir

This also includes a dedicated freight corridor project worth more than Rs 10 thousand crore from New Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to New Bhaupur. Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the Lahartara-Phulwaria-Shivpur four-lane road, completed at a cost of Rs 166 crore. On Monday, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Swaraved Mahamandir Dham located in Chaubepur Umrah, Varanasi. Will flag off Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express.

PM Modi will stay in Kashi for about 25 hours

During this time, PM Modi will also participate in organizing 25 thousand Kundi Swarveda Gyan Mahayagya here. Three lakh people from India and abroad are expected to participate in this program. On the Prime Minister's arrival in Kashi, he will be received by State Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Modi will reach Varanasi on Sunday afternoon, after which he will stay in Kashi for about 25 hours.

  • Expansion of facilities in Baitalpur, Deoria Petroleum Depot
  • Major projects to be laid foundation stone
  • 800 MW solar park in Chitrakoot
  • New Petroleum Terminal in Mirzapur
  • Varanasi Bhadohi Widening of NH 731B (Package 2)
  • 69 drinking water projects under Jal Jeevan Mission (Rural)
  • 150 bedded Critical Care Hospital at Trauma Center of Kashi Hindu University
  • Widening and strengthening of 13 roads
  • New integrated secondary residential school for disabled students
